Harolyn Benjamin, is a Washington, D.C. native, she has lived in Los Angeles, Washington State, Harvey, Louisiana, and now resides in Enterprise, Alabama, since Hurricane Katrina with her husband and three children.
Harolyn is the founder of H.G. Wild, Inc., and Women Who Care. These programs offer specialized self-help seminars, individual training and speeches to anyone trying to find their purpose in life.
As a teenager growing up in south central Los Angeles, Harolyn understood at an early age that her lot in life would not be an easy one.
Harolyn's early childhood involved chaos and abuse. Which lasted for many years.
It was through this traumatic childhood that Harolyn learned the purpose and meaning for her life. As the mother of three teenagers with distinct medical needs Harolyn knows the importance of teaching people that they are worthy of good things happening to them.

Harolyn's speeches have taught those in the audience that despite their adversities there is a greater purpose to their lives.

As a Life Coach/Speaker/Author, Harolyn is locally and nationally sought after for meetings, conferences, workshops and corporate team-building training.

Some but not all of her clients include Jefferson/Orleans Parish school board, the National Black Mayors Conference, the Louisiana Youth Challenge, Gadsden County Florida Health Department the U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau, New Orleans Women’s Chamber, Enterprise- Ozark Community College, ABWA, Alabama College System, Special Olympics, Alabama Baptist Association of Secretaries.
Harolyn also speaks to local and national schools and churches.

Harolyn was nominated for President Clinton's 1999 Service Award; she was also honored as New Orleans Person of the year. And Biz Magazine 40 people under 40 on the move. Harolyn is the author of the booklet "Did you Know You Have a Purpose?
Harolyn was a weekly columnist for the New Orleans Times Picayune. And a featured columnist for the New Orleans Tribune. Harolyn frequently appears on WTVY as a consumer advocate, as well as hosted her own show “Plain Talk with Harolyn on WELB 1350 AM.

Harolyn has been contacted by the Oprah Show on two separate occasions she is waiting for her future appearance on one of Oprah's many Shows.
Harolyn can be seen every third Tuesday on WTVY covering events in Enterprise, Coffee County and surrounding areas. Harolyn was honored to be named Enterprise Women of the year in 2014 and in July 2017 Harolyn was honored as one of (50) Business Women in the Wiregrass. Presented by Dothan, Al Mayor Mike Schmitz.
