I am a smooth jazz saxophonist similar to the style of Kenny G and Boney James. I can play solo with backing tracks and I also have a band.

May 22, 2026⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five‑Star Review for Harold Dawson
Event Date: May 17, 2026
I had the absolute pleasure of having Harold Dawson as the saxophonist for my birthday celebration, and he was truly exceptional. Harold was incredibly professional, pleasant, and kind from the moment he arrived.
Even when the evening didn’t unfold exactly as planned — with so much happening at once — he adjusted with grace, patience, and flexibility. His presence added elegance and warmth to the atmosphere, and working with him was genuinely enjoyable.
I’m giving him five stars because he absolutely earned them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Harold to anyone looking for a talented musician with a wonderful spirit. I’m already planning to rebook him for the upcoming Christmas holiday season (he doesn’t know that yet, but he will soon).
Thank you, Harold, for helping make my night unforgettable.

Harold Dawson: The Smooth Jazz Prodigy
Harold Dawson is not just a musician; he’s a movement in the realm of smooth jazz. Gifted his
first saxophone at thirteen, Dawson’s journey from a small town in Kentucky to the precipice of
stardom is a testament to his unyielding dedication and passion.
Influenced by the greats like Boney James, Kenny G, and Dave Koz, Dawson has curated a
distinctive sound, blending Smooth Jazz, R&B, Funk, and Soul. His music isn’t just about
melody; it’s a narrative that transports listeners into a world of emotion and nostalgia. This
virtuoso saxophonist has a knack for making the complex feel accessible, making every
performance an intimate conversation between musician and audience.
Despite life’s hurdles, Dawson bravely chose to pursue his passion over stability, giving up a
regular job to become a full-time musician in 2019. Since then, he has worked with notable
artists like Jackiem Joyner, fast-forwarding his career and honing his craft.
With his upcoming single featuring a melodic guitar line by Steve Oliver, listeners can expect a
beautiful fusion of Dawson’s seasoned saxophone prowess and Joyner’s stellar songwriting.
Beyond his music, Dawson’s story is a beacon of resilience, proving that with hard work and
unwavering faith, dreams can come to life.
Harold Dawson is a rising star in smooth jazz, committed to keeping the genre alive and
spreading positivity through his music. Stay tuned for his inspiring journey that’s far from over -
Dawson’s symphony is only just beginning
I usually bring my own sound. But if I were to use someone else's I still bring my own microphone equipment I would just need access to a speaker and a mixer. I plug in through XLR and 2 quarter inch cables for my backing tracks.
