The Hark Up Horns Big Band is one of a very few big bands in West Michigan that play regularly. You can always here the Band at "Swing Nights", the first Tuesday night of the month in downtown Grand Rapids at Rosa Park Circle (from April-October) playing regularly to over 1000 patrons. The Hark Up Horns Big Band is in it's 15 year. Hope College Homecoming (11 years in a row), Elsa Prince Wedding, Grand Rapids DeVos Car Show, Holland Fireworks, and recently the East Grand Rapids July 4th Firework Celebration and many more.
The band size is from 7pc up to a full 22pc group. Music styles range from traditional "dance" band music and beats to contemporary up tempo swing, to Michael Buble',

November 8, 2014This band plays regularly for Swing Night with the Grand Rapids Original Swing Society. These are some of the best players and singers in town. They are excellent and they have a huge variety of material that not only resides in the swing era, but reaches beyond swing into more popular music . They are always professional and sound fantastic. Nothing like those live horns! You won't be disappointed
