I provide live violin and vocal performances for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings. My style combines classical training with a modern, cross-genre approach, so I can play everything from classical pieces to pop, indie, and contemporary songs.
I work closely with each client to create a setlist that fits the moment and I’m happy to learn special song requests. I can perform on acoustic or electric violin depending on the atmosphere you want, and I also offer a violin + vocal package for those that prefer a mix.

What to expect
I’m very easy to work with and aim to make the entire process smooth from the first message to the final song. I respond to all inquiries promptly and clearly, and I’m happy to accommodate most music requests. To ensure everything sounds polished and exactly how you imagine it, I ask that all final music selections be confirmed at least three weeks in advance.
My presentation is always professional and “photo-ready,” and I take pride in creating a calm, elegant atmosphere that fits the moment. My setup is simple and unobtrusive. For shorter performances I perform from memory whenever possible so the music feels natural and personal. For longer sets (more than three songs), I bring a small e-reader and a clean, professional music stand so everything runs smoothly without interrupting the flow.
You can expect reliability and preparation. I always arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time so I can set up quietly, tune, and make sure everything is ready before guests arrive. I’m also happy to coordinate with planners, venues, or other musicians if needed so the performance fits seamlessly into your event.
About
Hannah LeGrand is an actively performing classical violinist and educator, based in New York City. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance from the Greatbatch School of Music.
Hannah has had the opportunity to perform at venues and festivals like Carnegie Hall, the Kodak Center for Performing Arts, the Music and Gaming Festival, and more. In 2022, she was an artist-in-residence at ArtsDistrict Brooklyn for the Limitless AI installation. She has toured three times with The Sorrow Estate, now GIRL LOVE, as a violinist/vocalist/bassist. She has also toured with the NYChillharmonic, and has recorded on two studio recordings with the 8-Bit Big Band.
She is currently the main singer and a co-writer/composer for the project, "food court people," as well as the violinist for "Trio LeGrand," a non-traditional string trio.
