Purveyors of Vintage Country and Original Americana music, husband and wife duo, Hank and Ella are a favorite of local roots music enthusiasts. Along with their backing “Fine Country Band” they take things back to a time before rock and roll when boogie woogie, honky tonk and country music ruled the airwaves. -Santa Cruz Good Times

There is something so natural about this band, and I've come to find out they have all been lifelong friends with one another. They have travelled the country playing at festivals and shows to excited audiences everywhere.
At live shows people always leave feeling uplifted by their high energy performances, and great stage presence. The band is known for making a dance party happen anywhere they play. One listen and you can tell this band has a bright future. Like Hank says in one of his songs, whether it be a setting sun or a rain filled cloud, the good old days are now.”

Formed in 2015, Hank & Ella with The Fine Country Band quickly developed a big fan base in Norcal and is proud to call Santa Cruz home. Their 2018 debut album is now featured on KPIG, KKUP, KZSC, WDVX, Radio Bristol and more. While Hank & Ella with The Fine Country Band are always reaching backwards in time to honor the tradition, they take a fresh, modern approach to California Country in their new album, Good at Being Lonely which has stayed on the Americana Country Music charts since it’s release in March 2021.
Imagine walking into a Honky Tonk and seeing a regular there slip a quarter in the jukebox. The whole place already knows the songs he's gonna play and the beer he'll order. "I'm good at being lonely, I'm good at being blue, I'm good at finding someone but they're not like you. You tell me that you need me, then find somebody new. I'm good at being lonely, I'm lonely for you." These simple lyrics from the title track tell the main story of the album, and bring back all the old feelings of what people have come to love about country music today.
