Other ways I can help are venue set up and tear down, carving roasts and turkeys, cutting specialty cakes, providing consultation on flow, layout, and overall presentation, setting up buffets, kitchen prep work, doing dishes, and garbage detail.

Exceptional Service - Made Our Dinner Party Truly Memorable

Damon from Hands Free Entertaining was absolutely outstanding for our recent Arabian Nights dinner party. We hosted 25 guests for an elaborate three-course Middle Eastern feast, and Damon's professionalism and attention to detail were exactly what we needed to pull it off seamlessly. From prep work through service and cleanup, Damon anticipated needs before we even voiced them. He moved through our home with quiet efficiency, ensuring glasses stayed filled, courses were served at the perfect temperature and timing, and tables were cleared without disrupting conversation.
What truly made the difference was how his presence freed us up to actually enjoy our own party. Instead of being stuck in the kitchen or worrying about logistics, we could engage with our guests, enjoy the live music performances, and be fully present for the games and events we'd planned. That's exactly what "Hands Free Entertaining" promises, and Damon delivered completely.
For anyone planning a sophisticated dinner party or special event where you want to be a host rather than a server, I cannot recommend Damon highly enough. Professional, personable, and worth every penny.

Big family Christmas fine dining party - a great success!

I had family coming in from all over, and I had planned an 8 course meal for 11 of us. I needed some help liaising with our chef and sommelier, and Damon and John were fantastic. They were kind enough to consider some of my more particular requests, dress in tuxedos, and make everyone feel considered and welcome. They even took care to print up small placards indicating certain food preferences for individuals. Definitely recommended, and most appreciated!

Will work very hard to make the event a success, exceed expectations, and perform in a professional manner. I support measures to limit the spread of COVID. I am pleased to inform you I am fully vaccinated and boosted with the Pfizer vaccine, and willing to provide proof upon request. I will come masked if that's what you prefer, with the caveat that you will not see my smiling face.

About

I have been fortunate enough to work at some of the finest establishments in Seattle, such as the Space Needle, Westin Seattle, the Edgewater Hotel, the Washington Athletic Club, and in the private suites at Centurylink Field during home Seahawks games. I bring with me the training and discipline I learned at those iconic Seattle establishments. Since gaining that valuable experience, I have served many satisfied clients in private homes and on yachts in the Greater Seattle area for over 15 years. With a passion for international travel, I ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, lived in French Polynesia, trekked in Nepal, went on a photo safari in Kenya, and visited small villages in Thailand and Indonesia. Knowledge of fine wines and varied cuisines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and capable of attention to detail. Professional, conscientious, reliable, punctual and self motivated. Excellent health and exceptional physical condition. Avid hiker, marathoner and triathlete. Hold applicable permits to serve food and alcohol. Reliable transportation. Volunteer for organizations like the West Seattle Food Bank and Fair Start. I consider myself to be a people person, and I always strive to exceed expectations. As a pre-Amazon transplant, my roots in this area go back to 1990 when I was hired by the Boeing Company and bought my first home here. Aerospace was my first act. Serving and bartending is my second act. Almost two decades of experience working for private individuals. These are services I am very happy to provide, and it gives me great pleasure to see how much my clients appreciate how I can make their entertaining easier. Happy to provide a recommendation on how many workers will be needed if you provide me the number of guests, types of services requested, and desired level of service. When I am on site to see your venue, pleased to provide advice on planning event layout, flow of people and dessert presentation, after learning more about your event and your preferences. Other services offered in addition to serving and bartending include carving turkeys and roasts, moving furniture and chairs around (pre-event and post-event), assisting with kitchen prep work, barbeque watch, specialty cake cutting, doing dishes, busing, cleanup and garbage detail.
