Overview
Hand Percussionist and Drummer for Recording or Live Shows. Jim Richards is a percussionist looking to play live with a band on special occasions (including rehearsals) or add some percussion on recordings. I am also open for a longer term if possible. I also play drum set which is visible in my videos. Hand Percussion can also go well with songwriter's demos or gigs, instead of using loud drums.

Not only did Jim Richards drive over 120 miles to be a part of my "Let's Beat Breast Cancer" Rally up in Sheboygan, but he arrived early, mixed wonderfully with the other drummers and percussionists, was totally professional..., he performed beautifully, and was a total hit with unique sound and his djembe instrument! I highly recommend Jim. No matter what type of music / sound you are after, he will undoubtably bring a unique mix to the blend, that or as a stand alone. He was terrific and very well received.

Cool music, from country to rock from 80's to now, this band is versatile and fun, they can play anything. Love the percussionist! Ive seen them at many different venues, wine bars, Zoo Alacarte, State Fair, always a blast.
