Halisi

Halisi brings passion, excitement, and awareness to everything she does. Her authentic voice is evident in the many gifts she brings to the world; as a facilitator leading training's for educators, as an activist within the community, as an author and poet, or as an original performer. Halisi’s passion for social justice drives her art and she serves as a community advocate for the voiceless. Whether it is telling her own story of trauma and triumph Halisi’s uses her art of poetry and storytelling to bring awareness to issues.
An advocate for children, Halisi draws on her early life spent working with children and adults with behavioral issues, including living with a parent with mental health issues.
Now, she acts as a catalyst to help people expand, change, grow and is passionate about supporting every person, meeting them where they are, to affirm children and parents in a way society doesn’t allow.
