Habaka is an international award-winning Blues, Jazz & Gospel vocalist whose four-octave contralto, commanding stage presence and warm connection with audiences have taken her from intimate jazz rooms to theaters, festivals, cathedrals and major events throughout the United States and Europe.

Born in Nashville and raised in Connecticut, Habaka spent 25 years living and performing in Italy, building an international career across Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Soul. Her performances have taken her to stages and festivals throughout Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary and beyond, before bringing her home base to Las Vegas.

Known for a voice that can move from deep, sultry intimacy to powerhouse Gospel and Blues, Habaka does more than sing songs—she creates an experience. Storytelling, humor, musical history and genuine audience connection are woven naturally into her performances. Whether appearing with piano, a small ensemble or full band, she knows how to read a room and shape a performance around the occasion.

Her recording career includes numerous international releases and collaborations. Her album Heritage Blue has received international radio play and chart activity, while recordings including “Love on the Brain,” “I Put a Spell on You,” “Help the Poor,” “Love Is Never Lost” and “Bossa Nova Tonite” have expanded her audience across Blues, Jazz and Soul markets. Her latest release, “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child,” brings together the Blues, Jazz and Gospel traditions that have defined her musical journey.

A recipient of the 2019 BMA Las Vegas Best Female Jazz Performer Award, Habaka is also a producer, international radio host, bestselling contributing author and longtime vocal coach. She spent a decade directing The Free Voices, her Gospel choir in Italy, and more than 20 years teaching singers through her Free Voice Method.

Today, Habaka brings that lifetime of experience to conventions, nonprofit and corporate events, festivals, theaters, performing arts venues and special engagements. Performances can be tailored from an elegant voice-and-piano presentation to an energetic small ensemble or full-band show.

Travel Expenses:
Air, Car, (gas and tolls) to be paid by the buyer
Meals, and Hotel to be paid by the buyer
For small events, PA system can be provided by Habaka depending on the size of the venue.

Small Stage Uprise is always preferred.
