Gypsy Reverie plays the music of a candlelit Paris café: Django Reinhardt swing, French chansons like La Vie en Rose, bossa nova, and the Sinatra standards that still fill a dance floor. A violin and guitar duo can play your ceremony, a trio carries cocktail hour and dinner, and a quartet or quintet with a vocalist takes over for dancing.
I lead the band on violin after fifteen years with the Hot Club of Philadelphia, and we've sold out rooms from Asheville to Philadelphia. Every quote includes travel, setup, and sound. Send me your date and a song you love, and I'll arrange it in the gypsy jazz style.

Price range: Starts at $700
After you book, I’ll ask which parts of the day you want music for, your must-play songs, and your first dance, so we can arrange it in the gypsy jazz style. Two special requests are included with two weeks’ notice.
On the day, we arrive early and are set up before your guests walk in. A duo plays fully acoustic with no power needed, and for more than 100 guests we bring our own sound system for $100. We keep the volume where people can talk over dinner, then lift the energy when it’s time to dance.
A meal for the band would be gratefully accepted.

Prices above are for events within a 1-hour drive of Asheville and include a $100 booking fee. Each hour beyond 4 hours is $125 per musician.
All prices include travel, setup, and breakdown. No hidden fees.
Overtime rate: $150/hour per musician beyond contracted time.
Holiday and peak-season surcharge (Dec 15–Jan 1, major holiday weekends): +15%.
Travel beyond a 1-hour drive: +$75 per musician (1–2 hours), +$150 per musician (2–3 hours), +$275 per musician (3–4 hours, lodging included). 4+ hours or overnight: custom quote.
For overnight events within 2 hours, add $150/night.
