Each performance highlights the talent and personality of all six musicians through expressive vocals, tasteful improvisation, rich piano and guitar textures, melodic bass lines, dynamic drumming, and vibrant saxophone and clarinet solos. The Pisgah Jazztet is a dynamic jazz ensemble founded in 2022, featuring six accomplished musicians: a vocalist, saxophonist/clarinetist, guitarist, pianist, bassist, and drummer. While rooted in vocal jazz standards, the group’s repertoire spans a variety of jazz styles, including swing, bebop, bossa nova, and occasional jazz-infused interpretations of classic rock and pop favorites. Far from being solely a vocalist-focused group, the Pisgah Jazztet showcases the individual artistry of each member, creating a rich and engaging musical experience.
