Mexican-Canadian "PopTenor"

Born in Mexico City, Gustavo Herrera immigrated to Vancouver British Columbia in 2007.

Possessing a Tenor voice and passion for singing, he began to study opera at the age of 16 in Mexico City.
In 1981, he performed in his first concert with the UNAM Philharmonic Orchestra at the Netzahualcoyotl Concert Hall one of the best music halls in Latin America, Singing the Tenor solo roll of The Fantasy in C minor for Piano, Chorus, and Orchestra, Op . 80, composed in 1808 by Ludwig van Beethoven

Gustavo has performed in several venues in Germany, France, Spain, Canada and Mexico.

His repertory includes a versatile range of music and stiles like Pop international songs from Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presly, Michael Bubble, Queen, The Platers and many more, Italian anthology, Choral music, Opera, Classic Napolitan songs, Sacred Music, Classic Mexican songs, Pop Latin music including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia and Traditional Mariachi Band among others, performed in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Latin and Mandarin.

Gustavo Herrera focus his carrier to the popular style and performances as “Canadian-Latino Pop Tenor” in Vancouver BC, singing all kind of Latin music like Bolero, Rumba, ballad, even including many performances as Solo singer with Mariachi Band plus his classic repertoire of Opera and Broadway musicals with dancers.

Gustavo was pleased to have the opportunity to lend a helping hand to the China Town Vancouver Rotary Club, Success foundation and Mexican and Latino Vancouver Communities as well in awesome fundraisings events giving something back to the community that embraced him in Canada his new home country.

Currently Gustavo performs in private, official, corporate and community events in Victoria BC, Lower Mainland Vancouver BC and Mexico City.

Our technical goal is to be as professional and easy going for our customers as possible.

So, for shows from 1 up to 150 guests we will provide all sound, lighting and instruments required.

We will require a stage or floor performing area as follows;
Solo performer minimum of 1.50 m by 1.50 m.
Duo performance minimum of 1.50 m by 3.00 m.
Quartet performance minimum of 1.50 by 5.00 m.

We also require one power outlet at the stage or performing area.

We need a parking spot close to the performing area and clear access to unload and upload sound equipment and things needed for the show, special consideration is needed if stairs involved in this process.

If performing outside we require a weather protected area ether for sun, rain, cold or windy conditions.

If the event is larger than 150 guess, or the sound requirement are out of the standard PA system a special consideration of equipment will apply in a case by case bases.

for any location with travel time longer than 45 minutes driving a commute fee will apply. (case by case)
