Kristina Helene is an award-winning singer/songwriter based in Victoria, BC. Early in her career, she traveled to Los Angeles to write and record at the studio of acclaimed producer CJ Vanston, known for his work with artists such as Prince, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, and Toto. Their collaboration spanned seven years and led Kristina into a world of exciting musical opportunities, including recording at the iconic Capitol Records with legendary engineer and producer Al Schmitt, as well as Steve Genewick. Kristina also lent her vocals to Steve Lukather’s original solo album Transition, further solidifying her presence in the international music scene. Over the years, she has shared the stage with renowned artists such as David Foster and nuevo flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook, and has opened for Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo and a cappella group Naturally 7. Together with her husband and musical partner, Thomas Kinzel, Kristina continues to captivate audiences across Vancouver Island and beyond with their live performances. Currently, Kristina and Thomas are in the process of writing her first full-length album.

Kristina Helene performs in a variety of formats - from an intimate duo to a dynamic full band - each tailored to suit the energy and scale of your event. For duo and trio performances, Kristina and her team come fully equipped with a compact sound setup that includes a PA system, keyboard, microphones, floor monitor, and a small lighting setup that adds a wash of colour to the background - perfect for creating ambiance in intimate settings. This gear is ideal for smaller, more intimate rooms such as lounges, private homes, or cozy venues where minimal amplification is required.

However, for larger spaces such as banquet halls, large outdoor events, or when hiring Kristina with a full band, additional sound reinforcement will be necessary. These types of performances require a dedicated sound technician and rental of a larger PA system and lighting to ensure optimal quality for both the audience and performers.
