It's our pleasure to introduce Kandace, the soulful powerhouse behind the microphone for Groovie Tuesday! Kandace started singing in church at age three where she developed her deep sense of confidence and poise. From singing in multiple choirs to touring Europe with the all-state choir and University of Minnesota Women’s Chorus, her vocal prowess has sweetened through years with unmatched dedication and love of the craft.
Now center stage as lead singer for Groovie Tuesday, Kandace brings a lifetime of experience and a voice that resonates with rich tone and lively energy. Get ready for an electrifying experience filled with soulful melodies, unforgettable moments, and infectious grooves that will have you dancing all night long!
BIO: Mike / Electric Bass & Vocals
As a working musician, Mike has performed as bassist, vocalist, and pianist in various genres and toured with the likes of Krush, Lipp Service, and Starlette’s Web. He is also known for his performances with Mick Sterling’s “Beautiful Vision” tribute to Van Morrison. Mike’s proudest accomplishment though, was writing, arranging, and producing two original albums with the American Pop Music Experiment- 2012’s “Always Starting Again” and 2017’s “Stand for Something”. Mike’s rich tapestry of experience plays an important role in Groovie Tuesday's high energy, rhythmic sound.
BIO: Jeff / Guitar
Before joining Groovie Tuesday, Jeff Lambert was a classical guitarist for about 25 years. In that time, he played with the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet, touring the U.S., making many radio & television appearances, playing with some wonderful orchestras, and recording several albums. But rock 'n' roll is where he got his start as a kid, and now he's happy to be getting back to it. He also plays flamenco guitar, works as a music producer & editor and has lots of students. Jeff also enjoys playing chess. He's not very good, but tries hard most of the time.
