June 30, 2025Amazing musician and composer!
My wife and I were married in August 2013. We were fortunate enough to be able to rent a grand piano for the ceremony, and having known Greg for a while, we asked him to perform at our wedding.
Due to some of my family members running a bit late, Greg hit the piano a little early to entertaining the crowd with his own compositions, as we waited for them to arrive.
I'd requested that Greg play my wife and I's favorite piano piece, Gymnopedie No. 1 by Erik Satie as my wife came down the aisle, and then Un Sospiro by Franz Liszt once we were married and walking together down from the altar. It was perfect! I even cried a little bit.
Having the grand piano and a professional at the help really gave our wedding a touch of class that our guests appreciated. We're so thankful to have had such a talented man and good friend play at our wedding!

June 30, 2025Great performance!
Gregory performed at my wedding, and did an amazing job. In addition to some of the more traditional wedding songs (Wagner’s Bridal Chorus), he also learned songs by Pink Floyd and the Foo Fighters at my request. I was so happy with the work he did.

About
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother, an accomplished organist and pianist, was my first inspiration. I began playing piano at a young age and performed regularly in school, church, or studio recitals in Long Island New York.
My passion for music led me to pursue advanced studies, and I earned a doctorate in Music Composition and Piano Performance from the University of Northern Colorado, where I studied piano with Vergie Amendola and graduated in 2012.
After moving to Phoenix, I performed for events before shifting my focus to teaching. Since then, I’ve taught piano at Buchanan Music in Mesa, music theory at Grand Canyon University and South Mountain Community College, and have been the strings teacher at BASIS Ahwatukee since 2017. Throughout this time, I’ve also served as a part-time church accompanist.
Whether performing or teaching, I approach each opportunity with care and dedication, always striving to create music that is expressive, meaningful, and memorable.
Additional booking notes
I provide elegant and expressive piano music for weddings, memorial services, and other special events. If a tuned, well-maintained acoustic piano is available at the venue, I’m happy to use it. Otherwise, I can bring my own high-quality digital piano and sound system upon request.
For most indoor or small outdoor events, I do not require special lighting or staging. If the performance is outdoors, I do ask for a shaded area or cover to protect the instrument and equipment from direct sunlight or rain. Access to a standard power outlet is required if I am using my digital piano.
I’m happy to work with you to select music that suits your event’s mood and meaning, and I can accommodate special requests with advance notice.
