We requested 2 songs for our wedding, he stumbled over notes and it sounded like it was his first time playing the songs. He was professional and on time but the music was disappointing considering what we paid him for just 2 songs.

I'm so sorry you were not happy with these two songs. I also played several other ones while your guests were arriving but you did not hear them. Although you had requested 2 songs I had never heard of before for your processional, I practiced them extensively and was prepared to play them. But I stumbled and played it poorly during the rehearsal run-through because I could not see my music properly when we ran through it. However I do recall playing them properly during the ceremony and according to the samples which you sent me. I'm thinking you still had in mind when I played it for the rehearsal which I agree was less than optimum.

What to expect
I will arrive ahead of time and quickly and quietly set up on my own. Just show me where to set up and where I can find an electrical outlet. I have everything else I have everything else I need with me except for a chair or two.
I will play very unobtrusively and let my music be part of the atmosphere for your event without calling too much attention to itself, unless you want me to be more of a show.
I have a large repertoire and can mix it up according to your requests or according to my sense of how the event is progressing. For example, if you prefer older songs instead of current hits (or vice-versa) based on the demographics of your audience I can taylor the playlist to your wishes.
About
I have enjoyed success with several of my recordings of original music and arrangements receiving thousands of plays and downloads throughout the world through most major internet streaming and download sites. Just search for "Ron Ferlito" in your favorite music streaming service or search engine to hear samples of some of my work!
I am a skilled, experienced music teacher, recording artist, and working musician who has been teaching voice, piano, and composition lessons for over 20 years. Classically trained at the Cincinnati Conservatory, I have much practical experience in many other genres as well, having been a participant in many rock, pop, jazz, and gospel groups and performance situations through the years. I am very successful at helping students excel in whatever style of music they prefer, and I am very skilled at getting novice players and singers up and running quickly, being able to read music and perform after just a few lessons. Although teaching is my main activity, being a recording artist and working musician in other areas helps keep me relevant, up-to-date, and practical in my teaching. And teaching keeps me grounded in fundamentals and proper technique for my other activities! A mutually beneficial synergy!
