Gracen Beaudry

I began playing the French Horn in middle school at age 12. In High School she was Principal of the Wind Ensemble and Section Leader for 3 of my four years. During this time I received multiple awards for my talents including, the Most Promising New Brass Member Award in 2006, Most Outstanding Brass Member Award in 2008 & 2009, and the Patrick S Gilmore Band Award in 2010.

I began my studies at Butler University in the fall of 2010 and will be graduating May 2014 with a Bachelors of Music Degree in Horn Performance and a minor in Gender and Women Studies. I have participated in the Butler Wind Ensemble, Butler Symphony Orchestra, various chamber ensembles, and Horn Studio during my four years at Butler. I served as Principal Horn for both the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra (phone number hidden)4.

During my time at Butler I have played in chamber ensembles including the Fairview Brass Quintet, Naptown Brass Quintet, Woodwind Quintet, String Quintet, and other mixed ensemble chamber groups. In the summer of 2013 I attended the Finger Lakes Summer Chamber Music Festival in Geneva, New York.

The services I provide include solo horn, woodwind quintet, brass quintet, french horn chamber groups, horn and string quintet, and other mixed ensembles. You can expect quality music, professionalism, and a good working environment. I also provide arrangements of pieces for an extra fee.
