Overview
I love elevating events with music and playing for the joy of others! I currently study at Rice University as a senior in Piano Performance. I play a wide range of styles, including classical, jazz, pop, and sacred favorites.
I not only perform solo piano but can recruit my fellow students to form ensembles by request (singer+piano, violin+piano, etc). Ask me about your wedding, church service, dinner party, rehearsal/competition accompaniment, and more.

Grace Templeton was the pianist for my mom’s celebration of life. We were so blessed to have found Grace through Gigsalad. She provided just the right touch for our service. Grace was warm, very talented and extremely professional! Amazing, accomplished, pianist!

What to expect
I pride myself on my punctuality, and will arrive in plenty of time to introduce myself and get set up. I am open and receptive to audience engagement with the music, honoring feedback and requests to the best of my ability. In social events, I listen to the activity of the room and play with enough volume that you can enjoy the music but still hold conversation. I enjoy playing music with positive energy and a melodic sound.
About
I am currently earning my (link hidden)s. in piano performance at Rice University. I first learned piano at the age of 2, and was a frequent prizewinner in piano competitions growing up. I worked 4 years as a pianist for church and 4 years as a piano accompanist for my high school chorus and a local adult chorus.
Currently at Rice, I have accumulated a large classical piano repertoire. In addition, I have played for Rice Theatre and Rice Dance Theatre. I greatly enjoy playing both solo and ensemble performances and can apply my repertoire and ensemble connections to your gig needs in the Houston area.
