As part of our package Grab’n Go Pack will set up a full display of emergency preparedness products for your audience to view and purchase. I always get asked why I enjoy talking to people about such a serious topic versus discussing financial success stories, personal development, or finding yourself. I get to share a topic I’m passionate about while spreading the word on the importance of emergency preparedness. Here’s how I got started on emergency preparedness. During the financial crisis, my wife and I were directly impacted and began struggling financially. It was an eye opener, and we realized what mattered most were the basic necessities to survive versus the materialistic things in life.

I wanted to share what I learned, so I started talking about the importance of preparedness with neighbors, friends, and family. It wasn’t long before I decided to volunteer with the American Red Cross as a presenter on emergency preparedness, attended C.E.R.T. classes to become a first responder, and took an American Heart Association BLS class on CPR and AED.

During my past career in the finance industry I had the opportunity to see a number of motivational speakers like Zig Zigler, Les Brown, and John Wooden. From this experience I had always dreamed about being a public speaker. It wasn’t until the financial crisis that I began my career as a public speaker about a subject matter I’m very passionate about. I wanted to spread the importance of emergency preparedness. And what better way of doing so than to speak to a larger audience about its importance!

When I started Grab’n Go Pack, I approached emergency preparedness differently than how I used to present for the American Red Cross. I like to engage my audience and create a fun atmosphere that entertains you about a serious matter. My job is to empower my audience to be pro-active in readiness, not scare them away so they do nothing.
