May 27, 2025They have the Beat—And You’ve Got to Hear It Live!
What an absolute joy it was to share the stage with such a phenomenal Go-Go’s tribute band! From the very first note, they captured the infectious energy, punky spirit, and sunny pop melodies that made the original Go-Go’s such trailblazers in the music world. Every song was delivered with the same exuberance and tight musicianship that defined the Go-Go’s, making it impossible not to dance and sing along.
The band’s attention to detail was remarkable—nailing the sparkling guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and those unmistakable harmonies that brought hits like “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed” to life. Their stage presence was electric, radiating the fun, freewheeling attitude that made the Go-Go’s icons of the ‘80s and role models for generations of musicians. The crowd was swept up in nostalgia, reliving the glory days of MTV and radio singalongs, but it was clear this tribute band wasn’t just about looking back—they brought a fresh, joyful energy that made every moment feel alive and in the present.
Not only did they do justice to the Go-Go’s legacy, but they also created a party atmosphere that united everyone in the room. Their performance was a true celebration of the music, the era, and the enduring power of timeless pop-rock. Whether you're a fan of the Go-Go's or simply enjoy a high-energy, feel-good show, don't miss this band—they are the real deal!

About
BIO
Beauty and the Beat formed in the winter of 2024 when “Jet” and some jam friends were
brainstorming about a band to tribute. The friends contemplated: who is not being
tributed? All of a sudden, they had it! The most fun band ever...The Go Go’s and Belinda Carlisle!
Jet’s (Yvette's) voice matches perfectly with Belinda Carlisle’s. Lori’s and Michele’s strong backing vocals,
and Jake’s accomplished drumming finesse are all spot-on matches! After a few months
of rehearsal, Beauty and the Beat began gigging in the late summer 2024. The band has
played; ParkStock Music Festival; The Lodi Peddler’s Festival; Soberay 365, and large
parties. After Beauty and the Beat’s initial spotlight the experiment was crystal clear!
Everyone loves Beauty and the Beat!
Beauty and the Beat takes the deep winter months off (Jet goes to Florida). The band
took advantage of the time off to create a promotional video for bookings and to ramp
up social media. The band is looking forward to gigging throughout 2025 and onward come late
spring.
