Overview
Being a bagpiper is a strong thread that is interwoven within the fabric of my soul. I am proud to be "the piper" for people's special days, whether they be happy or sad occasions.
I am an experienced musician with many years of bagpiping experience. I am a professional person who is prompt to arrive at all events and I communicate very well throughout the process.

Bon Piper was outstanding - A 10 out of 10. Not only does he have tremendous musical talent with the bagpipes, but he also demonstrated a deep understanding of the emotion and gravity of the occasion - a funeral mass and burial. He asked exactly what we wanted, communicated clearly before the event, and delivered with great respect, professionalism, and skill. Many guests commented on how moving his performance was. His presence added so much dignity and meaning to the service. I could not recommend him more highly!

Matthew was exceptional -- he arrived early so that when people arrived at the cemetery for my Dad's burial, he was playing to greet us. He stayed throughout the ceremony and continued to play after we left the burial site.
He was skilled, compassionate and just an overall wonderful person, thank you so Matthew. :))

Matt was wonderful! He was very communicative throughout the process and showed up on time (actually early) and was attentive to all of the details. He is a very talented bag piper and his play was a beautiful tribute for the deceased and her family was so appreciative. 10/10 recommend!

November 23, 2024Bagpiper for Celebration of Life.
Matt "Bonpiper" was great to work with for my Father-in-law's Celebration of Life. We talked and communicated before the event so Matt was tuned into how special this was for my Wife's family and me. Weather was fair for beginning of November, and "Bonpiper" arrived in full regalia. Look forward to seeing him play his pipes in his regular gig.

Matt was amazing. Once we booked through gigsalad he reached out through email to find out more details about our wishes and our event. He communicated well and really listened to what we wanted and NAILED IT. He showed up early. The weather had taken a turn the day of our event and was much colder than anticipated, which makes it MUCH harder to play the pipes. He handled the unexpected change with ease and really delivered. I really loved that he showed up in full highland regalia. It was a great touch and really added to our celebration.
