Whether you like it straight or on the rocks I can either give you a more intimate performance (Guitar and Voice) or a more upbeat performance (One Man Band) where I can recreate the sound of a full band for a fraction of the price. It's cool to watch him do his magic, hard to believe it's just one person! He's also very well versed in a variety of music and can read the crowd to adjust as needed. If you are interested in my stripped down Solo Acoustic Performance crowds should expect to be soothed, crooned, and bopping along to familiar sing alongs.
My One Man Band offers more of party friendly, upbeat, vital and danceable vibe. Lot's of grooves, rocking numbers, stomping reggae, and soulful ballads.
I've been performing for twenty plus years now. I've played in Open Mics from every from Los Angeles (@Kuleks Woodshed), San Francisco (Hotel Utah), to Berkley (The Freight and Salvage). I've played in several bands as well such as GroundWire, Sunz of Elvis, Farewell to the Surface, and The Dharma Bums. In the past ten years I've really gotten into Solo performance and especially experimenting with how I can get a larger "One Man Band" sound. This has lead me into the world of Live Looping where I can lay down beatboxing, guitar percussion, basslines, and harmonies to create a larger sound and not just be merely be labeled as the acoustic guitar guy although I love just strumming, picking, and singing my heart without the gadgets as well.
I am fully equipped with a 2000 watt (output) Column Line Array PA Sound System which is plenty loud to handle a small club or a party of a couple hundred people. In my one man act I will supply sound, lighting, and all equipment necessary for set up. If you need an extra mic for announcements that can be easily set up as well upon request.
