Gary Bertsch & The Blamers
Overview
Gary Bertsch & The Blamers is an Americana-folk rock act mixing elements of country and bluegrass. Gary and The Blamers also perform songs from John Prine, Tom Petty, Mumford & Sons, The Avett Bros, Bob Dylan, and The Lumineers. Gary recently performed at Cincinnati's Fountain Square and Washington Park. Jason S, a client, had this to say: "I reached out to Gary to play a private party. Gary brought a big stage feel and incorporated that into our intimate setting and the crowd could not have been more engaged. A true professional, he would feel at home playing at Riverbend, my backyard, or anywhere in between. Book Gary for your next event and your guests will have a wonderful evening."

November 6, 2024Fall Harvest Event in Georgetown, KY
Gary and his son were awesome to have at our event! He did such a good job at doing cover songs and some of his original work. A lot of our patrons danced along to the music. He even helped be an MC for the event as needed and did an excellent job with that! We are looking forward to the next opportunity to bring him back to one of our events!

August 1, 2023Fun, upbeat and overall great time
Gary Bertsch & the Blamers were absolutely amazing. I hired them for my boyfriends surprise 30th birthday party and they absolutely killed it. The event was outdoors by the river and the band was incredibly professional, they were here at 10:50AM for at 12:30 PM start. They had all of their equipment ready as well as bringing a fourth guy (when I originally was quoted for 3 people, bonus! 😁). Genuinely this could not have been a better band for the party and could not recommend more!!

January 15, 2023Professional and Great Experience
Gary Bertsch and the Blamers have played at my place more than any other band. They act professional, arrive early, and are ready to go before the time they are supposed to go on stage. Once on stage, they have an amazing sound. Their original song writing is reminiscent of Woody and Arlo Guthrie, while their style is more like the Avett Brothers. They bring a great energy to every show!

January 14, 2023Best band EVER!!!
I am a huge fan of Gary Bertsch and the Blamers! Gary has a magical talent of turning moments of his life into the best songs I've ever heard! This band is a treasure hidden in my hometown and I love that every time I see them play there is always a new Blamer sharing their hidden talent! If you have never heard them play before, you are missing out, stop by any fabulous venue that they play and you will be glad you did!
