Ciao! I am a classically trained violist, orchestra director grades 4-12 and an event contractor for weddings, private parties and special events. Hire me to add a classy & upbeat vibe to your wedding or private event. I have a VAST library of over 1000 songs and a large network of string musicians who I work closely with if you would like to book a small string ensemble besides a solo violin or viola. String ensemble combinations can range from:

String duo: two violins, violin/viola, violin/cello or viola/cello
String trio: violin/viola/cello, two violins/cello, two violas/cello
String quartet: two violins/viola/cello.

The viola has gorgeous mid-range warm (purple/violet) tones that sit nicely with conversation and background music, but can still stand out because of the wider dynamic range. Full Bio:
Mrs. Gabrielle Parente; a native Violist from Long Island, NY has made her mark on Boston, Cape Cod and Providence, Rhode Island’s music scene since her arrival in 2008 to study with Roger Tapping, late violist of the Juilliard String Quartet at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. After graduating with a B.A. in Viola Performance with honors Magna cum Laude from SUNY Stony Brook University and a Master’s Degree and Graduate Performance Diploma with Emphasis in String Pedagogy from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, Gabrielle currently holds a private studio, teaches orchestra grades 4-12 in the Fall River, MA school district, a tenured section violist with Cape Symphony, professional violist & event contractor throughout New England, as well as Adjunct Professor of Strings at Providence College. When Gabrielle is not sharing her love for music with her adorning students and community, she is either cycling, practicing yoga, cooking epic meals or enjoying quality time with her husband, daughter and dog Leo.
