Gabbalina and the Guys

Based in the Pacific Northwest and all the way from Los Angeles California, Gabbalina is a rapidly rising vocalist in the jazz scene all over the PNW. She is a vocalist who pays tribute to traditional jazz and blends modern jazz and classical styles seamlessly. Her warm, sweet, and powerful voice will keep you hooked until the last word.

Gabbalina is currently the lead vocalist for many groups formed in the local Portland Scene such as Gabbalina and the Guys, The Gabbalina Quintet, The Gabbalina Quartet, Gabbalina and the Nathan Lev Duo, The Gabbalina Trio, and The Gabbalina and Jim Schlauch Duo. Each member of her groups have a deep understanding and respect for the jazz tradition and strive towards the highest level of musicality.

Gabblina is an accomplished vocalist who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Portland in 2025. She graduated with the university’s Best Vocalist Award and Margaret Vance Award for Outstanding Musicianship and Academics, retaining her spot on the Dean's List for 3 years.

Throughout her middle school and college years, she was a dedicated member of numerous vocal ensembles, including classical, chamber, and jazz choirs, consistently demonstrating outstanding musicianship and artistry.
