Janice Michelle McClain has a voice spanning 3 octaves with shear power, Janice was ready for the world by age fifteen, she landed her first record deal with WARNER BROTHERS. A single was released entitled "SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE". The single became an international hit soaring to number 2 on billboard. She began to tour extensively around the world and developed a huge following. She later secured yet a second major record deal under the mentoring of the legendary Patti Labelle who introduced Janice to MCA RECORDS. Janice has worked with an array of great poducers on the project including gospel great James Cleveland, producer Michael Simbello (maniac) Dick Rudolph(father of Maya Rudolph from Saturday Night Live) and others. Janice is currently part of a song writing production team called JKANI MUSIC GROUP,who was recently signed to TRANZFORMAZ/ UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP as their Philly writing and production team. She and her team just completed a project with power house artist Matthew Shculer of NBC 10 THE VOICE! Matthew is currently on tour with THE VOICE NEON DREAMS IN VEGAS.
