Freewheelin' is a duo with backing tracks playing clubs, corporate events, biker events, cruise ships, weddings & private parties for over thirty years. During that time spent as professional musicians and singers, we've learned what it takes to keep an audience entertained and happy. We play many different genres of music, everything from classic rock, R&B, country, and classic dance tunes by artists like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alan Parsons Project, BB King, Kool & The Gang, Van Halen, The Spinners, Boz Scaggs, Matchbox 20, Wilson Pickett, and many more.
Video and audio are available on our web site.
As an Atlanta Native, I've seen both Frankie and Mike perform many times. When they decided to pool their talents into a duo I knew it would really special. The music is fun and so is the spirit they bring. I try to catch "Freewheelin" whenever I can. Good job guys! ~~~
I have been a fan of Frankies music since I was a teenager. I have saw him play on several occasions with different bands over the years. But the musical talents of these two men that have come together as FREEWHEELIN'will literally blow you away.Getting the opportunity to see them is like having the privilege of hearing several classic bands at one place! Its like being transported back to a time when music spoke to you. I am in Acworth now and keep a close eye out for shows closer to home. I never miss a chance to see FREEWHEELIN' and totally get rocked! Keep doing what you're doing guys. You are the best!
These guys are AWESOME! Such a terrific assortment of music is played. They have great chemistry with the audience and are very family friendly. Go check them out, you won't be sorry!!!
I've been to hear Freewheelin' several times. This duo has a great sound!! They play a wide variety of music. I would recommend anyone who wants to have a great time and be thoroughly entertained to attend one of their gigs.

Because our drums, keyboards, fiddle, harmonica, and horn section are digitally sequenced, (Mike & I supply the bass, guitar, and vocals) our renditions of the songs we cover are as close to the original as you'll ever hear. Our system is state of the art and allows us to be as loud as you wish. On that same note, we can also play as soft as needed - very important in a restaurant or dinner setting.
What's amazing is our ability to make ourselves sound like a five piece band. It's done by taking world class studio musicians and reproducing the original music from all the songs we perform. Then it's digitized and put on an MP3 format and played through our PA system. When we add our voices and instruments to the mix it really is in a word, amazing.
The beauty of our system is that we can give you all of the sound and quality of a bigger band, without having to charge you for one. As a duo, we can definitely fit into any budget.
We've spent most of our adult lives playing, singing and entertaining audiences all over the US and the Caribbean, so feel confident that we know how to keep folks happy and dancing!
Being a duo-type act, we're able to set up in a relatively small space if need be.
