December 4, 2023Great choice to liven up our party
We hired Frank for my father in law birthday party and he did a great job entertaining guests providing background music for the event. We were worried that having just a guitarist rather than a full band might have been too boring, but we could have not made a better choice. He played both slow and up-tempo tunes, and he sounded like a band, but without the overwhelming volume. We are very happy with our choice and highly recommend him. Booking was easy, and his set up did not require too much space. I received many compliments from guests, who were not expecting real live music. He was definitely a great addition to our party!

What to expect
I provide instrumental jazz/fusion background music, playing electric guitar over professionally recorded backing tracks, so that it sounds like an intimate small ensemble. My set includes a variety of tunes that are classics of the genre and range from uptempo funky rhythm to slower ballads. All tunes have improvised solos as well as standard melody lines. I have a spontaneous improvisational style that reflects my melodic mediterranean influences, blended with American roots of blues, funk and jazz.
My performance can provide a nice variety of background music and set the right mood for your event.
You can expect me to show up on time, be easy going, polite, professional, and always sharply dressed.
About
I first studied guitar in Italy and then in California. After playing in many bands, I released my first solo album Funky Nights in 2021, available for streaming on all major platforms. The album is the result of a collaboration with Jazz saxophonist Les Arbuckle (Mike Stern, John Abercrombie, Brian Setzer...) and also features Argentinian drummer Bernardo Yacono.
I Graduated from from the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, Duluth, Georgia, in 2023, with an Associate Degree in Music and Technology, with a guitar concentration.
I am versed in music theory, reading and writing music, composition. production, sound processing, and performance. I have an extensive engineering education and I am an Avid Pro Tools user certified.
Additional booking notes
I bring a laptop with a sound interface. All sound processing is done digitally and mixed straight into a PA system. Setup is simple, self-contained and sounds great.
