About

Frank was born and raised in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood and knew from an early age that piano was his passion. At age 11 he began classical training in the Romantic Russian piano tradition under Isadore Shanhouse at his studio in the Fine Arts Building. Shanhouse was himself a pupil of the great Josef and Rosina Lhevinne. Frank later attended music conservatory while continuing his training under the influential Shanhouse, who stressed rich melodic tone and careful musicianship. Frank has spent a lifetime mastering a wide range of styles and musical genres, and can provide music for everything from solemn occasions to parties, and everything in between.

Frank has played at some of the Chicago area's most prestigious venues, including Chateau Bu-Sche, Schram Memorial Chapel, Salvatore's, University Club, Chicago Cultural Center Preston Bradley Hall, Como Inn, Crystal Ballroom, Drake Hotel, Germania Place, JW Marriot, Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge, Lake Forest Academy, Loyola University Museum of Art, Palmer House Hilton, Scottish Rite Cathedral, Sunset Ridge Country Club, Evanston Golf Club, Park Ridge Golf Club, White House, and many more. In addition, he has played at countless places of worship, private residences, and restaurants.
