Fr. Tom Pels Weddings

We are so thankful that we chose Father Tom to officiate our wedding!

From our initial consultation call, where he took the time to truly understand what we wanted, to meeting us in Wicker Park the day before the wedding to collect our marriage certificate and take one more thing off our plates, he went above and beyond. He walked us through the sequence of the ceremony one last time, reassured us, and answered every single question we had. On the big day, he arrived well in advance to warmly interact with our guests.

We truly believe that our wedding would not have been possible without Fr. Tom. We were so lucky to find him! It is hard to find an officiant who can both do a mixed language ceremony (Polish and English) and is flexible in the way they perform the ceremony. Father Tom got to know us and our families and wrote the ceremony so that it would be meaningful and beautiful for everyone. He came to our rehearsal dinner to get to know our families, and spoke to guests at the wedding. It made the ceremony much more meaningful, because he really knew us and our guests. The ceremony itself was beautiful, and we highly recommend him.

The ceremony was exactly what we wanted. Traditional and romantic. Father Tom was warm and great to work with. He spent time with our loved ones after the ceremony. We had several people tell us how wonderful he was.

Fr. Tom did an amazing job officiating my wedding. He engaged the audience and made us feel so comfortable. He did a great job and was there in a very timely manner.
