About
Florina is a professional violinist based in Michigan, performing for weddings, private events, and upscale celebrations throughout the Detroit area. With a strong classical foundation and extensive orchestral experience, she brings refined artistry and reliability to every performance.
Originally trained in Romania, Florina earned both a bachelor’s degree in violin performance and a master’s degree in chamber music from the National University of Music Bucharest. She performed as a full-time orchestra musician with the Sibiu State Philharmonic before relocating to the United States.
Since 2015, she has performed with leading ensembles in Michigan, including the Lansing Symphony and Detroit Opera, as well as numerous regional orchestras. Her performance experience spans both large concert stages and intimate event settings, allowing her to adapt seamlessly to each occasion.
Florina’s repertoire blends classical works with modern songs arranged for violin, creating an elegant and personalized atmosphere for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and special moments. In addition to live performances, she offers custom violin recordings for proposals, anniversaries, and meaningful gifts.
Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and consistent quality, Florina works closely with clients and planners to ensure a smooth and memorable experience from start to finish.
Additional booking notes
Minimal setup required. A stable, level surface is needed for performance. No power supply is required, as amplification (if used) is battery-powered. For outdoor events, shade is recommended and protection is required in case of rain or extreme temperatures. Approximately 20–30 minutes is needed for setup.
