Overview
Pounding with the intensity of waves crashing on the shore and calling out with bittersweet melodies, Floodmap's soundscape captures a dark yet romantic ambience. Their lyrics navigate the range of haunting emotions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that overcome us like an unexpected storm.
The band's alluring sound earned them a 45 min waterfront set at Barrie's Kempenfest festival in 2024. In the same vein as Smashing Pumpkins, The Cranberries, and Wilt, Floodmap's sound carries the weight of internal struggles into a new generation of rock. Their first single, Never Had You, was released on March 27th 2026, with more songs to come.
