October 17, 2023Flash Drive came to my college senior parents weekend party and all I have to say is, wow.
They were incredible! I was able to send a list of some of our favorite songs before the event and they learned and preformed them, this is a luxury that I don’t think you get with many cover bands. On top of that, they engaged the crowd SO much. We had tons of people flooding in and dancing and singing till they dropped.
The band is also super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I wasn’t sure if our set up was doable because it is a large band and we only had the front porch for them to preform. John had me snap some pics of the porch for him and boy did they make it work. They are real crowd pleasers and really incredible people.
Needless to say, we will be using them again. If you are considering this band then drop what you are doing and book them now.

On another note, sadly the other guitarist, Mark (the one on the left in the photo) passed away Monday morning from a sudden an unexpected heart attack. The band's still in shock, but we are getting through it. He told me that your party was the most favorite gig he had ever played. We will miss him terribly. John.

From the whole FlashDrive gang, we thank you, Christina and Ladies of the Mill for giving us the opportunity to entertain your guests at the Westin Hotel Friday night. Your attendees looked so awesome (and beautiful) all dressed up and in their masks. It makes a band feel wonderful when we see the crowd enjoying themselves as yours did. Please keep us in mind for other events in the future and we'd love to do this event again next year if given the opportunity. Glad Tay (one of your attendees) could make use of our fog machine on Saturday.

The members of FlashDrive love to perform and engage the audience. The vocalists, guitarists, and bassist are all wireless and enjoy getting out into the crowd to further that interaction. FlashDrive band members like to have fun with each other and you'll see a lot of grinning on their faces as they deliver Top 40 covers that everyone will recognize. FlashDrive delivers those covers true to the spirit of the original recordings.
FlashDrive was born in 2013 in the Chicago suburbs and rose to prominence over the next 7 years. The COVID-19 pandemic put FlashDrive on a pause in March of 2020, and it was formally dissolved in August of 2021 when its founder and manager, John moved to Chattanooga, TN. It didn't take John long to bring FlashDrive back to life as he found talented local musicians that shared the same vision as him. FlashDrive Chattanooga Edition is the same musical configuration as FlashDrive Chicago Edition with two female front vocalists, 2 guitars, bass, keyboards, and drums and is a multi-genre, multi-generational cover band.
FlashDrive has its own sound system and lighting. It needs a 20' x 15' "stage area" to set up and perform. Two 110 volt outlets are needed. FlashDrive uses no amplifiers on stage so we are able to completely control our sound levels and can play at small, intimate venues all the way up to large, outdoor venues.
