I'm a solo guitar player and vocalist that performs the greatest hits of the 50's/60's. Using backing tracks to add percussion, bass, saxophone, etc., I sound like a complete band with the advantage of being able to set volume levels that most pleases the audience. I strive to exactly duplicate the songs of Elvis, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, the Platters, Ricky Nelson and many, many more. I also perform many of your favourite classic country tunes. Dressed in 50's style, I can do a show, dance, or what suits the occasion. I also fit in a smaller space than a large band and am very reasonably priced. My act is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, dances, corporate events, car shows, etc.

August 1, 2019I hired Flashback Freddy to play for my mom's High School Reunion (Class of '57); a party combined with a "Turning 80 yrs old" celebration for 60 people. I was worried about hiring someone who would be "too much" or "too loud" or "wouldn't be able to read the crowd". I didn't need to worry. Flashback Freddy was perfect!!!
First, the singing and playing was fantastic! The songs were right on target and the crowd loved them all. Second, he managed the crowd, timing, and engagement perfect. He engaged the group well, and felt like "one of us" vs a hired entertainer.
He was professional, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. By the end of the party he felt more like family. We will definitely hire him again. It was worth every penny.
My own personal love for the music from the 50's (and a bit later as well) is renewed. Can't thank you enough Flashback Freddy! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I can perform excellent oldie rock & roll music for your dance or party! If desired, I can also include some popular old country classics. If you just need some great live background music for your event, I can do that also.
I can do a complete evening, for instance, playing a dance, or can do a 1 or 2 hour show, depending on the event.
For a small additional fee, I can provide a mic to make public announcements, speeches, etc.
I'm Flashback Freddy! Performing the greatest rock & roll, pop, and country hits of the 50's/60's, I dress the part and love to interact with the audience, offering interesting trivia about the songs and artists. Want to have a twist or hula hoop contest? Young and old alike have a blast, either as participants, or just watching and laughing!
I have all the sound equipment necessary to put on a quality event, inside or outside. Just a regular power outlet is all I need!
Generally, a single 15 amp power outlet is all I need to do a show. In larger venues, a 20 amp circuit or two separate 15 amp outlets may be necessary.
A 10ft. by 10ft. area to set up my equipment is adequate, although in smaller venues, I can fit in a tighter spot with less equipment.
Parking access fairly close to where I'll be performing is important for larger venues with more sound equipment.

I can vary set lists, depending on the event. I have a song reperatoire of almost 300 songs! At a dance, for instance, I usually do 3 or 4 forty- five minute sets, with a 15 min. break between sets.
I love to perform the songs of the legendary artists: Elvis, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Ricky Nelson, the Platters, Everly Brothers, and many more.
Some of the country artists I like to do are: Jim Reeves, Don Gibson, Marty Robbins, Buck Owens, George Jones, etc.
I strive to perform these songs exactly the way they were done by the original artists!
Since I have all the required sound equipment, all I need is adequate power for the venue.
