Robert will give a world-class guitar performance, playing a variety of styles on the classical guitar including flamenco, classical, new age and smooth jazz. Even though Robert is a solo artist his performance will sound like a full band due to his outstanding quality backing tracks that he will use to accompany his guitar playing. Whether the music needs to be played softly in the background or in a concert setting, Robert will accommodate all of his clients needs and do a sound check before his performance to make sure the volume levels are set properly. Robert will also arrive one hour before the event to allow enough time for set up.

The Simon's Duo will offer an unforgettable performance, playing a variety of styles and beats, from lively upbeat tunes to slow and romantic, suitable for any occasion. They can accommodate their clients adjusting volume levels, microphone use for announcements, and songs requests. Sound checks and set up will be done one hour prior to the scheduled event.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Robert began to play guitar at 13 years old and at age 17 enrolled in the music performance program at California State University, Northridge, studying classical guitar under the direction of Professor Ron Purcell. He became highly respected at the university among his professors and colleagues for his impeccable technique and well thought out interpretations of the classical guitar repertoire. Bach's "Chaconne" and Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez" were just a few of the virtuoso pieces that Robert mastered. He won the prestigious Segovia Scholarship Award three consecutive years and was also one of the few students to get selected to perform for Guitar Virtuoso Julian bream. in 1994 Robert received a Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. After graduating from college Robert decided to pursue his lifelong passion in music as a solo act. His superb performances given throughout the United States, Europe, Central and South America brought him both national and international success as a world-class guitarist, captivating audiences with his fast-paced, energetic style of playing and masterful command of his instrument. Simon's music can be best described as fast, upbeat songs covering a wide range of styles including Nuevo Flamenco, Latin, Classical, New Age and Smooth Jazz. He has released five albums as a solo artist ("Spanish Dreams", "Flamenco Passion", "Guitarra y Canto Tropical", "Latin Passion" and "The Complete Collection") which have collectively sold over 50,000 copies worldwide. Robert continues to perform extensively at various venues and private functions throughout the United States and is presently one of the featured acts at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California.

Adriana Simon was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to the States at the age of 26. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music from California State University Northridge where she met her husband Robert. Since childhood Adriana performed in numerous school and church choirs; she has many years of vocal training from her country and in the US. She joined her husband playing guitar, keyboards, and singing at different venues like Downtown Disney, and touring throughout United States and South America with great success.

The Simon's duo (Adriana Simon, vocals, Robert Simon, guitar) have been performing for over 15 years in a variety of especial events, weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and live shows. Their music covers a wide rage of repertoire including popular cover songs up to present time, in various styles such as pop, rock, ballads, and Latin music. Whatever the occasion might be their music will certainly make your event a memorable one.

All amplification is provided by myself. The only requirement I have is for an ac outlet to be available close to my performance location.
