Beautiful violin music for engagements, weddings, parties, corporate events etc. Classical, pop, musical tunes, fiddling as preferred. I have already years experience playing seating and ceremony music at weddings, at cocktail hours and dinner receptions, often mixing romantic classical repertoire and romantic popular music. I have a classical violin background. I play mostly acoustic violin music but can bring my own amplifier with me if needed or work together with DJ of the event if available. I have over hundred selections of classical and popular music in my basic play list and I am open to quickly learn requested new songs for an additional compensation.

You can choose from romantic classical music, romantic contemporary songs and fiddling music as needed. I also have a collection of romantic Spanish music. I am happy to add new songs to the event repertoire as well! At first we will complete a vendor contract. We will talk in phone or Skype about the type of music needed and possibly requested favorite songs. In case of a wedding event we will go through the details about seating music, actual ceremony and reception/cocktail hour as applies. I like to create the desired overall atmosphere with carefully chosen music repertoire. I will ask how formal, semi formal or casual the event is to reflect it with music choices and how I will dress up. Typically I will be in touch just few days before the event to confirm if anything has changed from the original plan. I am also available through phone or texting as often as needed!
I studied the solo violin at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. Since then I have relocated to USA and acted as a freelance musician in California and Oregon. I have played violin music in countless engagement events, weddings and corporate events.
If I will be playing acoustic violin I need only a chair in addition to violin, sheet music and music stand which I will bring with me to the event. A bottle of water would be appreciated as well! I would like to know what kind of lighting is available so I know if I need to bring a music stand light with me.
If I play electric, amplified violin music it would be helpful to know if the event has a sound system that is available or if I should bring my own amplifier with me. In latter case there is an additional fee for transporting and setting up my own sound system.
Enough space to play freely with violin and bow. I don’t want to poke anybody with my bow!
