Cynthia is AMAZING!

By Maddie A. on November 1, 2014

I am a brand ambassador for a variety of beer and liquor brands in Pittsburgh. Corona/Modelo hired Cynthia for our promotion for Dia de los Muertos and she created the most beautiful calavera (skull) face paintings. She was so kind, sweet, and professional. I was blown away by her creativity and skill level.

Wonderful Activity for my Daughters Birthday

By Marissa on October 1, 2014

I had Cynthia come to do my daughters 7th Birthday party which was a Monster High theme. The girls had a wonderful time! Not only did she do a fantastic job with their face painting, but Cynthia also came with nail polish and hair color, and they all loved their makeovers! She was very reasonably priced, and all the moms loved what she did with their daughters makeovers. Given how difficult some of the Monster High Dolls faces are, the work that Cynthia did matched it almost perfectly. I would definitley schedule her again for another party!

We had a great experience with our face painter, Cynthia. She actually did a party for us the previous year as well. She is exceptionally skilled and has a theatrical background which translates to phenomenal facepainting that all the kids and many of the adults participated in and enjoyed. I recommend her without any reservation and I would be happy to have her come back again to any future event we may have. She is super sweet too!

Enthusiasm, patience and kindness as well as artistic talent as I complete the transformation. Good communication skills both verbal and non verbal. Watching people get transformed is very entertaining and almost as fun as being in the chair!

Additional Booking Notes

I use only the highest quality professional makeup. Most commonly for young children and general face painting, I use water soluble theater makeup ( which will not last in the rain or swimming pool). It is easy to remove and provides a fun, temporary transformation. If you are planning a pool party, or squirt gun battle - please tell me and I will use a hybrid paint that is water resistant! I can also do glitter tattoos or airbrushed tattoos, both last in the swimming pool, sweat and rain! I typically bring a complete kit including a directors chair, table, all my artist materials, clean bottled water, hand sanitizer, a banner, mirror, design selections and a supplemental light to all gigs. The space required for one artist is small approx 4x6. I can supply a 10x10 pop up tent for an additional fee. If a tent is not included in your contract, please provide a space for me to paint which is out of the elements and direct sunlight. If I am using an airbrush, I will need access to electricity. I have a 100 ' cord and plenty of supplemental lighting. Any questions dont hesitate to ask! I look forward to working with you to help make your event spectacular!

Influences & Inspiration

Yolanda Bartrum (of New Zealand), Mark Reid & Nick Wolf (USA), Lynn Jamieson of Australia and Gary Cole (owner of Snazaroo makeup) I have studied under these and many other incredible artists and pray just a drop of their technique & talent has transferred! Also I have to credit "Mr Skull" premier makeup artist with Universal Studios, Orlando for inspiring me to try my first temporary tatoo in 2007.
