August 13, 2024Sarah is an amazing event planner. She helped me get everything organized so that I could relax and actually enjoy my event. It was a 65th birthday party and everything went to plan. She helped pick and coordinate the perfect food vendors.
She also helped the day of. She added a great energy to the party and kept everything flowing. I really appreciated her help. My guests commented and asked for her contact information for their upcoming events, everyone had a great time.

My process goes like this:
1. Consultation - to understand what you want and what your goals + budgets are.
2. Planning - detailed but streamlined spreadsheets to keep track. If you have a task management software that you like, I can use that as well.
1. Venue - limitations, communication, permits
2. Guest list - managing RSVPs + invitation design
3. Food + beverage - catering, menu, serving style, dietary options
4. Entertainment - music, games, speakers

6. Decorations - theme, ambiance, lighting
7. gifts - party favors
8. staff - set up/clean up, waiting staff, etc

As far as communication beforehand, I mostly communicate via email so there's always a reference. We can decide the cadence for which we meet virtually to discuss the details + updates. I do like to give a weekly summary of any updates via email.
If you are in the Bay Area, we can meet in person at the venue as well. Ideally once during the planning phase and once closer to the event. The in person meetings/sessions will look different depending on where you live + what is needed for your event.
I have been planning events for over 8 years. I am an organizer of all sorts - I love to create easy to follow systems. I have experience doing home organizing and business organizing as well.
My experience with event planning includes business events, marketing events, weddings, kids parties, dance parties, virtual events and day camps. I pride myself in being intuitive towards what people need and how to create a good vibe.
My events are warm, organized, and a touch of over the top - because why not go a little extra when we are celebrating?
Lastly, I am also an astrologer and can bring that events as a fun add on.
