What to expect

Expect a personable outgoing performer wishing to provide the best experience for her clients. Be it a classical performance or a laid back evening of jazz I strive to sing each piece of music at the highest possible level. I wish to use my art form to promote enjoyable experiences for each individual whatever the occasion or event may be.

About

Music and a love for singing has been tightly woven into the fabric of my life since childhood. I had the privileged opportunity to grow up attending and participating in a wide variety of musical events. The love I have for music continued into my adulthood which prompted me to study the art of singing further in the completion of a BA degree in music with a voice concentration and a Masters degree in voice performance. I currently teach private studio voice which I love as much as the opportunities I have to perform. I define myself as a versatile multifaceted classical singer. I enjoy singing and performing a wide variety of music from classical to pop.

Additional booking notes

Depending on the event I will need an accompanist that I can practice with at least two weeks before the event two or three times depending on the amount of repertoire.

If recorded accompaniment is preferred I would ask for an opportunity to practice with the recorded accompaniments in the venue one or two times before the event.

Lighting and staging will depend on the venue which may be discussed in further detail .

Depending on the type of event and venue I may need a microphone especially for larger venues where celebrations will be occurring such as wedding receptions.

If there is a considerable amount of music to learn I would prefer at least a month to learn the music . However, if it is a very small amount I may be able to learn the music in a couple of weeks. I want to make sure I have the proper time to learn the music well and sing with the most artistic expression.

Influences and inspiration

Renee Fleming
Kathleen Battle
Natalie Dessay
Also many other musicians along the way from a variety of music genres .
I would also like to give credit to wonderful teachers I have had along the way who have inspired and influenced my artistic career for good.

Setup requirements
