Eve Events is a full service wedding and event company in Portland Oregon, owned by a brother sister duo, Genny and Alex Howell. Working with all budgets, Eve Events strives to create a dream scenario for clients. We hit the ground running the moment you book, and that's a promise. Focusing on creating a big impact with seamless execution, while relieving the stress and pressure that come with planning a wedding or large event. We strive to exceeding all of your expectations to make your event one to remember.
I had the opportunity to work with Alex and Genny to plan my husband's 40th birthday party. To say that they went above-and-beyond would be a vast understatement. Genny's attention to detail, creativity, organization and ability to curate an incredible event were such that everyone at the party kept asking if they could have her contact information to work with her in the future.
They helped me plan the party in our backyard and recommended an incredible chef, DJ, photographer, furniture rental vendors, etc.--we were extremely happy with every single one of her recommendations and it's clear that they surrounded themselves with an incredible network of vendors and resources. Our guests were blown away by the food and the overall experience.
They were fun to work with and all-around incredible people. I am sad the party is over and looking forward to planning many more events together with them! Thank you for everything!

Price Range: $1800
Rates start at $2,000 and increase or decrease based on venue, wedding/party size, location, guest count, planning and day of needs. We always cater budgets to the clients needs and are happy to offer free consultations to determine your exact needs and are happy to work with your budget to create a custom quote based on your level of planning desired.
ON YOUR WEDDING OR EVENT DAY
-We are the first to arrive on site, to check in with our clients/couple, VIP guests, and vendors to field any questions.
-Assisting in ceremony/event and reception set up.
-Facilitate “first look” and work alongside your photographer and videographer to round up guests as needed.
-Coordination with our florist/design team for installations and coordination of all design elements
-Oversee all load-in for vendors and oversee arrival and departure times for transportation of guests
-Booking and communication with your catering and beverage services for table assignments, table counts, allergy and dietary needs.
-Keep track of all elements of timeline and RUN OF SHOW to make sure the event runs without a hitch and is stress free
-Oversee all elements of set up and breakdown of event, including rentals, personal items, décor and trash/compost/recycling.
-Handle distribution of final payments and vendor gratuity.
-vendor referrals (contract, negotiation and booking)
During the planning process, services will include:
-Customized venue and vendor recommendations. We don’t play favorites or send you to our friends - we're intentionally matching you with the right people and location best for you, your budget, vision and personality.
-Time dedicated to getting to know you, your vision, and wishes. We value building a strong relationship with you.
-Creative planning, checklist, timeline, guest, layout/seating, and budget management and maintenance to keep you on track.
-Vendor management with an emphasis on efficient and respectful communication.
-For weddings we offer consultation on etiquette, trends and traditions, industry norms, guest logistics and experience (lodging and transportation, recommendations for out of town guests), and all wedding related vendors/details.
-Review of event/ceremony, toasts/speeches, and any special elements as needed to make sure there are no hiccups or embarrassing surprises that put a cramp in the flow of the wedding or event to assure it all runs like a dream.
-For weddings, we offer direction of ceremony rehearsal. We will thoroughly cover the ceremony flow and details so you, your officiant and your wedding party feel completely comfortable and at ease!
Eve Events is a family owned and operated boutique wedding and event company. Run by brother/sister duo Alex and Genevieve, applying their joint experience. Genevieve has many years experience in events in the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, and New York and has worked for one of the worlds top event companies on the East Coast. Alex has extensive experience in events in Portland and Los Angeles, including the prestigious Fest Creative Events in Los Angeles, owned and operated by their eldest sibling! I guess you could say its in the blood.
