I am a solo acoustic guitarist that plays a wide variety of cover songs ranging from artists like Tom Petty and Jack Johnson to Paula Abdul and N'Sync. I use a loop pedal and percussion pad to add more dynamic than just acoustic guitar as well! I make a strong effort to keep my song selection unique and aim to please all ages at any event. I've been a professional musician for 15+ years and have experience playing formal events like wedding cocktail hours as well as backyard pool parties. October 27, 2019Evan Koteles performed at our afternoon fundraising event and I got so many inquiries about where I found him and that we should book him again for our future events. He showed up promptly and set up before start time, and had a super playlist which were perfect for a festive Sunday afternoon outdoor event. People noticed the great music and singing but it was not intrusive in any way to the other activities going on during the event. He played more than the 2 hours booked and did not take a break other than when we borrowed his mic to make announcements. I highly recommend Evan and we would surely book him again!

One of the greatest advantages to hiring me as the performer at your event is my ability to adapt. I don't just 'do what I do' no matter where I am which is what has allowed me to go over well in different environments. If hiring me for the cocktail hour of your wedding and you want me to play instrumentally, then that is what I will do. If you'd like easy listening like Jack Johnson or Jason Mraz, then that is what I will play. I am always reading the crowd to determine my next song so every event I play is specifically tailored. I also use a loop machine which allows me to play a rhythm track, record it, and play lead guitar over top of it.

I'm extremely easy going and don't require much when at a gig. I use a Compact Bose sound system which takes up very little room but puts out a clear, high quality sound so I only really need a space of at least 5ftX5ft.
