He was responsible and punctual, brought all his own gear, and had a wide repertoire that was able to adapt to and match the vibe of our event, ranging from classic stride hits to more ambient interpretive music. Everyone had a great experience with him and I would recommend him for any type of event.

Matt Genkin grew up in Brooklyn in a Russian Jewish immigrant family. He started taking piano lessons at six years old and became interested in jazz from the music program at Edward R Murrow high school. He's dedicated his life to the performing arts, including music, theater, stand-up comedy, and performance art.
