I found my love of photography at the age of 15 while spending hours in the dark room, learning the craft and techniques of traditional black and white film format. I use these same analog aesthetics in my digital work today. After college, I lived seasonally, working, volunteering, and photographing between Alaska and Latin America for 6 years before meeting my wife and moving to Sicily for a year. There I created my first photography book, Images of Sicily. I now call Arlington, Massachusetts “home” and work as a freelance photographer full-time. I enjoy creating special memories for families and newlyweds, and photographing special guests and speakers at Harvard University and other area schools . Besides wedding and portraiture photography, I enjoy taking pictures of special events, people, and places. My work has been featured and published by National Geographic, Harvard University, Descant Magazine, Nature Conservancy, and The BBC.

For me photography is an ever-evolving pursuit. There’s always more to learn. There’s always room to improve. It really helps me understand and appreciate the subtleties of life. I cherish the photographs I have of myself and my family growing up. I love to create these keepsakes for others.
