Erik Johnson

I have performed in a litany of settings, classical, jazz, funk, rock, soul, R&B, rap, blues, Indian classical music, Arabic music, Irish music, cocktail piano, church music, and many more. I play 7 musical instruments fluently and sing in English, German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, and Japanese. I am versatile and professional for many performance settings and am sure I can make your event exceptional.

Erik Johnson, is a multi-instrumental recording and performing artist from Metro Detroit. He honed his craft in central New York and Brooklyn, before touring around the country with artists of numerous genres. He has appeared on more than 20 albums as a woodwind instrumentalist, rhythm section player, back up vocalist, and composer/arranger. He’s settled down these past 6 years in Denver to build a private lesson studio, take up the music director position in churches, and now works part-time traveling the world as a cruise ship performer.
Erik is consistently inspired by new sounds and has used this insatiable curiousity to study 9 different languages, 10 different instruments, Yoga, performance psychology, and has launched social media platforms to help others connect and learn what he’s gained.
