When hiring our band you can expect the utmost professionalism, from our communications to our setlist and audience interaction. We can provide our own PA and bring all our cables and mics, but are also happy to arrive to a show that has all of these already!

We don't take requests on the fly but if there are any particular songs you're hoping to hear, let us know in advance and we will see what we can do!

About

Eric Jackson & Willow River craft songs that feel like autumn—warm, textured, and timeless. Blending alternative country, bluegrass, and touches of folk/Americana, their music is rooted in harmony-rich storytelling and a deep connection to the land they call home. Based in Ontario’s Waterloo Region, the band draws its name from the original (pre-colonial) name of the Grand River: Willow River—a tribute to the area’s Indigenous heritage and Eric’s own indigenous identity.

Formed in 2021 by singer-songwriter Eric Jackson, the band quickly found its sound through a shared love of three- and four-part vocal harmonies, acoustic instruments, and songs that stick with you long after the show ends. Audiences often compare their harmony-driven sound to The Eagles—a compliment the band holds close to heart.

Whether playing intimate venues or festival stages, Eric Jackson & Willow River bring an easy, earthy energy that invites listeners into their world. It’s music for campfires, porch swings, and long drives—comforting, thoughtful, and filled with joy.

Above all, they’re not interested in fitting into boxes. Their evolving sound reflects a belief that music is meant to be explored—and that the best songs are the ones that feel like home.
