Empress J was an AMAZING performer. She interacted with me and my guest, she was extremely flexible with her time and gave me just want I wanted and desired for my party. Her original music is dope. If ur looking for someone to give u a Caribbean, soca, island vibe then Empress J is ur girl. I can’t say it enough Thank u Empress J for making my 1st birthday party one to ALWAYS remember and one that my friends and family can’t stop talking about. #OneLove

About
Empress is a triple threat in the entertainment industry. She is a singer, dancer and actress/producer. Empress founded and is the CEO of Healing Out Loud Theatre Productions, Island Fete Fitness Dance Company and Empress J Music. She has tackled the music industry, as well as the poetry scene. Known on the underground music and spoken word scene for her powerful and evoking lyrics, she has acquired an expansive following in the DC Metro area. To her credit she has collaborated and made her songwriting debut on Ginuwine's "The Life" project with her sensual song "Role Play". She has her own band that creates a unique sound called “Crunk Rock” In addition to performing stage and film productions, Empress’ passion to keep her Caribbean heritage alive, she has created and branded two genres of dance that does just that. Belly-Dancehall and iSadcie are two dance and dance fitness brands that celebrates the diverse and rich culture of the Caribbean Diaspora.
