Marijke Gray, affectionately known as “Ms. Middle Name, Last Name Gray", is a Partner at Kemp Solutions, bringing extensive experience in operations, organizational development, and leadership execution to executive leaders and senior teams navigating transition and complexity. Ms. Gray leads transformative initiatives that support student veterans in their transition from military service to academic and civilian success.

A proud U.S. Army veteran who served during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Marijke’s leadership is grounded in service, discipline, and a deep commitment to people-centered outcomes. She has spent more than a decade leading transformative initiatives across complex institutions, including serving as Director of a Military and Veteran Center, where she designed and led programs supporting large-scale transition, performance continuity, and cultural integration.

Marijke is widely recognized for her ability to restore clarity, consistency, and momentum within organizations. Her work focuses on operational alignment, leader effectiveness, and the development of systems that support sustained performance, particularly during periods of organizational change. She brings a practitioner’s lens shaped by experience in the federal government as a Project Manager and Module Manager, where she honed her skills in execution, continuous improvement, and cross-functional coordination.

Her advocacy is deeply rooted in honoring the service and sacrifice of all veterans, with a special focus on the unique challenges faced by female soldiers. Through pioneering programs such as Served Like a Girl, SHeroes, and Rosie the Riveter, she has elevated the voices of women in uniform and created platforms for visibility, healing, and empowerment.

Ms. Gray’s federal government experience as a Project Manager and Mod Manager sharpened her leadership and operational skills, but it is her heart for service that defines her work. She is passionate about giving voice to the voiceless, mentoring student veterans, and building inclusive support systems that recognize the full spectrum of military experience.

Through her leadership in veteran-serving and higher education environments, Marijke extends Kemp Solutions’ reach into leadership pipelines, women-centered initiatives, and transition-focused ecosystems. Her work provides the firm with early insight into emerging leadership challenges and access to institutions shaping leaders before, during, and after service.

Marijke holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy and Urban Planning from Texas Southern University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Developmental Education. Her academic and professional background equips her with a systems-level perspective on growth, transition, and human development.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a smooth and impactful presentation, Marijke Gray requires the following:

Audio:

Lavalier (lapel) microphone preferred for hands-free delivery
Access to a reliable sound system appropriate for the venue size
Backup handheld microphone (recommended)

Visuals:

Projector and screen (or large display monitors) for a PowerPoint presentation
HDMI or compatible connection for the laptop
Table or podium for laptop setup (if needed)
Clicker/remote for slide advancement (preferred)

Lighting:

Adequate front lighting to clearly illuminate the speaker
Stage lighting (if applicable) should allow for visibility without being harsh or distracting

Staging & Setup:

Clear stage or presentation area with enough space to move comfortably
Quiet, distraction-free environment for audience engagement
Access to the venue at least 30–60 minutes prior to start time for setup and testing

Coordination with the event AV team in advance is appreciated to ensure seamless delivery
