November 24, 2025Bridgerton Ball
Emily is truly a rare talent. Her playing is absolutely beautiful, and she has a way of captivating an entire audience with her music. I recently hosted a Bridgerton-themed ball for my sister’s 50th birthday, and Emily was incredible from start to finish—so responsive, enthusiastic, and genuinely committed to bringing the vision to life. She even went out of her way to learn several Bridgerton pieces for our cocktail hour and dinner, and showed up perfectly dressed for the theme. The violinist was such a key part of the evening, and I truly couldn’t have pulled it off without her! Thank you Emily! I really appreciate it!!

About
Emily Fischer is a Chicago-based violinist and educator whose artistry bridges classical, rock, and pop styles. She starred as the lead role of the Fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof at the Skokie North Shore Performing Arts Center in August 2025. She also appears regularly with Music Theater Works and the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra and has performed at venues and festivals such as Art & Soul on the Fox Fest, House of Blues, and even opened for Cheap Trick.
🎻 Emily began studying violin at age three through the Suzuki Method, a philosophy that continues to inspire both her performance and teaching. She has completed teacher training for books 1–10.
🎶 She earned her master’s degree in Violin Performance with a concentration in String Pedagogy from the University of Louisville in 2024, where she studied under Dr. Geoffrey Herd. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, she provided private instruction, led String Methods classes, and coached ensembles in the university’s prestigious String Academy program. She also contributed to Suzuki workshops (2022–2023) and led sectionals for the Suzuki Youth Symphony Orchestra at the 2024 SAA/ASTA Conference.
Emily currently serves on the violin faculty at New Music School’s conservatory program in Chicago, helping young musicians discover their unique voices through music while remaining actively involved in the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
