Overview

I have been formally trained in voice for over eight years. I have been singing weddings and funerals for the past three summers. I know all the standard repertoire and can easily learn any new piece.

I am also a singer/songwriter and have released an EP. I have performed original and cover songs at venues around NYC. I accompany myself with piano, guitar, and guitalele ( a combination instrument of guitar and ukulele).

I am a passionate, enthusiastic, reliable person who finds joy in performing and making your events memorable. I can't wait to work with you!

Emily can perform solo and accompany herself on her acoustic guitar, or piano if the venue has one! She has experience fronting a band and loves to collaborate with other musicians. Emily is experienced in performing both with and without amplification in a wide variety of settings. While performing, Emily is happy to provide friendly banter and anecdotes between songs, or play straight through a set list. Additional booking notes

I'm a flexible artist! I am most comfortable performing with either a quarter inch plug in into an amp or sound system for my guitar (or a piano, if the venue has one), and a single stand microphone for my voice, but I have performed without any amplification plenty of times in my life as well.
