Ellie began as a stage actress and voice-impressionist and was immediately told she resembled Joan Rivers. She was asked to work the red carpet at a live event, and the rest is history. She is an accomplished actress having appeared in major motion pictures and performed from coast to coast entertaining millions of people over the years as Joan Rivers.
Ellie says she has also been a "Kinder, Gentler Joan" when requested. "Sounding vocally grating and being annoying is something I avoid when performing as Joan. It's a pitfall Many other Joan Rivers impersonators fall into. There's a fine line between a caricature and an impression." She has appeared as Joan in the film "Butterscotch And Chocolate" and was a look-alike winner on The Joan Rivers Late Show in Hollywood. "I have emcee'd award and tribute shows as well as worked the Red Carpet as the Fashion Police. Occasionally doing a short stand-up routine as Joan, using her vintage material, "I have discovered her stuff never gets old, whether it's gynecology or aging "ungracefully" or dissing the Queen of England. They love it. I've even walked the real red carpet at the Academy Awards. Book me for fun fun fun!"

It was wonderful to have you at the Drake event. I really think you kicked the party up a notch! The Drake is planning on having the Oscar Party next year.
